Nowhere in the world will you find as many important ideas being explored as in DC. Many of the institutions that are providing the ideas to solve some of the toughest challenges have free and inexpensive events anyone can attend.

We've also included a few local and national institutions that combine research with practice. We call these organizations Action Tanks and few do better work than Communities of the Future or The Harwood Institute. Check them out.
